Sometimes I Don’t Rhymes: Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge 234

My first post of 2019 is a Haiku using the word prompts provided at <Ronovan Writes>.

I am also unveiling a spangly new graphic. Technically on the wrong sort of post but ‘Sometimes I Verse’ was er.. worse.

The prompt words for this weeks challenge are ‘seek’ and ‘find’.

Now, my first haiku has come out a little less than profound (as usual) but if you want to follow the advice it gives and find proper ones, you should pop along via the above link to Ronovan’s site where there are other superior entries to read.

Seek profound haikus?
Unlikely to find one here
Try another blog

I thought perhaps I should have another go…

Mrs B's glasses
They're never easy to find
I live to seek them

No. I do try hard
but mainly nonsense comes out.
It is my nature.

    1. Dr B, I do appreciate and admire your alternative verse, inspired by my slightly deliberate for effect complete failure of imagination, but you really ought to post them on your site with links to join in officially… It’ll certainly be seen by more people that way! 😉

      1. Ha ha, well I broke a Haiku rule, they’re not supposed to have a context I believe and mine clearly does! That’s another reason I kept it between us only

      2. What we need is a Random Haiku Generator, 3 columns of 5 syllable phrases each numbered. Choose one number from each column and banzai, we have a Haiku!
