Welcome to this week’s attempt at the Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge.
If you habitually start at Ronovan’s page for the challenge here and work your way through the other responses and have finally got to mine, don’t let that put you off, I’m sure the standard will go back up again afterwards.
This week’s challenge words are Narrow and Minded.
I don’t know about you but being in Britain this week, seeing these words and thinking of Brexit enthusiasts, the words strike me as being eminently suitable.
Again, two haiku for the price of one this week. Or, buy one rubbish one, get another rubbish one free.
How were we minded?
Only narrow choices left
May’s vote three minded
Though margin not twice narrow
The red lines fading
Come back next week when I promise that things will be great, if we all get behind it and just believe enough and, if it’s not, some big boys did it and ran away.
LATE BREAKING HAIKU NECESSARY. EVENTS CAUSE YET ANOTHER ATTEMPT. SORRY.
More narrow than the second
Only magic left
Please do pop off and read more responses to Ronovan’s challenge here, I’m sure it’ll be more worth your time than hanging around here instead but you can give that a read too if you like broken noses.
